We are seeking an experienced and innovative financial services expert, with domain expertise in Insurance Brokerage & Agency as well as Core Insurance, and a track record for driving results. This individual will work in partnership with the broader product team to drive the strategy, roadmap and go-to-market planning and execution for the Salesforce Insurance, Brokerage and Agencies offerings.

This role will be accountable for accelerating the growth of our Financial Services Insurance offerings both in AMER and at a Global level. This role will be the conduit for voice of the client and product feedback to product management and leverage that feedback to drive innovation that leads to customer success. This individual will need to maintain operational rigor and a strong product mindset, focusing on innovation and execution, while delivering high double-digit profitable growth. Ensure that the commercial aspects of our product development provide sufficient contribution, meet margin constraints and have buy-in from our distribution partners

The highly cross-functional role requires a candidate who enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced startup environment, aligning exec stakeholders, and collaborating with global teams to deliver local impact. This leader is responsible for developing opportunity assessments, business use cases and driving ACV and pipeline growth for the products, working in strong collaboration with sales, sales enablement, alliances, marketing, and customers. This individual is expected to work with senior-level customer stakeholders to drive adoption.

It will further entail executing on methods that drive the adoption of new solutions and new product capabilities across our customers and partners. This individual will apply research, industry knowledge, and product knowledge across solution releases to bolster internal and external understanding and applicability of our Cross APM products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate financial services, insurance brokerage and agency expertise and exhibit thought leadership across our ecosystem of customers, the field, and regional partners.
  • Engage directly with executive leadership at our customers to showcase the value of our financial services solutions and align our offerings to their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with financial services leadership in AMER and Globally in the regions to help shape the strategy—own elements of bringing that strategy to life.
  • Work with the global product team to ensure the product roadmap aligns with the needs of customers in the region.
  • Participate in Product Advisory Councils in collaboration with the product team and participate in industry Customer Advisory Boards
  • Create a partner strategy and establish executive relationships with strategic SI and ISV partners.
  • Nurture strong relationships with the partner ecosystem to build a robust network of system integration and Trailblazers to support new product launches and customer implementations. Encourage and assist innovation partners (ISVs) to develop products on the Salesforce financial services platform.
  • Support enablement and marketing efforts through developing content, 1:1 and 1:many training sessions, and representing Salesforce at public events and forums.
  • Partner with Distribution Solutions to create industry-specific solution and demo assets to ensure accurate and compelling story. Coordinate and collaborate closely with Distribution leadership to align on top accounts, engagement plans and help achieve target revenue growth
  • Work closely with Marketing teams on development of industry assets to showcase product innovations

Qualifications:

  • High energy and passion for the job
  • The equivalent of 5+ years in the industry of Financial Services, and Insurance Brokerage Agency Management either through consulting experience or direct firm employment
  • Deep domain knowledge of customer engagement processes in Financial Services and Insurance Brokerages and Agencies
  • Experience in working in fast-paced startup environments
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
  • Ability to lead with Salesforce values and culture
  • Execute with grace under pressure and a sense of humor and camaraderie.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds
  • Ability to self-motivate and set direction based on medium and long-range goals.
  • Work with teams that are a mix of hybrid and remote.
  • Have hands on experience with Salesforce cloud solutions, Financial Services Cloud.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,300 to $290,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,300 to $290,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
