The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our award winning, Band 1 Real Estate team located in Melbourne on a permanent, full time basis.

Working alongside our Melbourne Real Estate Partners Alison Kennedy and Jerome Martin, this role will see you working on a wide range of transactions for major real estate, corporate and government clients across all major asset classes, including commercial, industrial, retail, residential, infrastructure and renewables.  You will get the chance to work on significant and market leading development projects, sales and acquisitions, leasing and general advice work. The team has an unrivalled portfolio of major commercial and government clients and is renowned for its expertise in advising many major players in the real estate industry.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2-5 years' experience as a Senior Associate within a leading property practice;

  • experience across a broad range of property classes and transactions, with experience in government being highly desirable;

  • an ability to draft clear, commercially-oriented and incisive advice;

  • a strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;

  • highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for building client relationships and maintaining a positive team environment; and

  • experience mentoring and coaching junior lawyers.

In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter who is able to work autonomously, has attention to detail and is committed to providing an outstanding service to their clients.  

The Real Estate team
