Job Description

Fabletics is currently looking for a Principal Product Manager – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) 

 

In this role, you will be lead our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) squad within our Product Creation Technology team. You will be accountable for executing key initiatives within the teams’ long-term product vision in the “sketch-to-site” space. You will partner with our cross-functional team members in product creation, data science, finance, supply chain & warehouse management, to define core strategies for our supported systems and tools such as PLM, PO management, merchandise planning, and inventory allocation.  

We are looking for strong product owners who are comfortable sharing their vision, assessments, and cost/benefit analysis with executives, but also working closely with and translating the vision to engineering teams and to business stakeholders. You should have a passion for process & operational efficiencies. 

This role is best suited for someone who can work in a highly dynamic environment to deliver impactful new tools & solutions and convey industry best practices in the product creation space. The right candidate will bring a good mix of experience with developing technologies, a solid product management skill set, and a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial approach. 

This position will report to the Senior Director of Product, Platforms. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Manage the full project lifecycle of tools & systems development and reconfiguration (change requests) to support Product Creation key initiatives. 

  • Contribute to product roadmaps, developing the business case and ROI for new initiatives, while balancing technical and business insights. 

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders across teams to define user needs, project scope, and new solution opportunities. 

  • Write detailed project requirements, draft business workflows, communicate project scope effectively, and manage projects through development, QA, and launch. 

  • Execute routine product updates that support the standard business cycle and advise on support escalations as needed. 

  • Monitor Key Business and User metrics to ensure always optimized tools & systems. 

  • Manage agile projects as a scrum master (rotational schedule). 

 

What you can bring: 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a product management/business consultant capacity. Experience with PLM software is required. Experience with Centric PLM is a plus. Experience with planning, ERP, and PIM systems is a plus. Fashion company-specific experience preferred. 

  • Deep knowledge of product creation business processes, with exposure to integrated systems such as 3D Product Development, Patternmaking Systems, OMS, ERP, Planning, WMS. 

  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to quickly understand, simplify, internalize, and communicate complex or technical concepts. 

  • Emphasis on user-driven product design and data-driven refinement. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder needs against limited resources, while maintaining buy-in. 

  • Articulate and collaborative, with an ability to get a point across using data while maintaining decorum. 

  • Strong rapport with software engineers and a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle. 

  • Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) with a high level of competency and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and/or similar analytic tools, testing platforms, and tracking tools.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $125,600-$190,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
