Duties and Responsibilities:
Review submitted employee expenses
Entry of manual & off-cycle expense reports
Communicate with staff / managers as needed
Manage Employee Expenses email inbox
Meet all relevant deadlines for expense processing
Assist Employee Expense Supervisor
Review & process transactions on monthly credit card statements
Coordinate with card users to gather receipts + project numbers
Daily entry of transactions in bank accounts
Monitoring of AR inbox for remittance advices
Possibility of reaching out to clients +/or project accountants for payment info
Awareness & prioritization of month end deadlines
AP Invoice entry back-up
Keeps Finance team and other stakeholders advised of relevant information as appropriate
Knows when to escalate an issue
Understands the need for discretion and confidentiality
Assist Finance team with duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous A/P or Transaction Entry experience
Minimum of five years intermediate accounting experience
Excellent computer skills (must have strong MS Office skills)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of general accounting processes
Personal growth and development interest
Experience in Public Practice or a project-based environment considered an asset
Previous experience with Deltek Vision considered an asset
Experience with Canadian taxes (GST/HST) considered an asset
