As a Senior Manager, Sourcing Strategy, you’ll work with Sourcing leaders to ensure critical business metrics are met while influencing future growth strategies to help our customers Save Money and Live Better.

  • Strategize: You will develop the strategy to best serve our internal stakeholders through a period of transformation. You will provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership, based on strategic insights, analysis, experience and technical acumen. You will lead the bolstering and execution of Sourcing Strategy along the pillars of Resilience, Trust and Value
  • Deliver transformational impact: You will deliver strategic initiatives & projects by identifying problem / impact areas, defining, building business case, getting stakeholder support, building project plans, building new thinking & solutions, piloting project with select teams and supporting wider roll-out
  • Impact through influence:  You will drive action by other teams by convincing leaders of the positive impact of your ideas or projects.
  • Execute: You want to get to the lowest level of detail, and scale – to understand the root cause of a problem and develop solutions that resolve ti. Develop efficiency and value creation opportunities (metrics, goals, roadmaps).
  • Collaborate: You value partnerships, and will excel at working across Sourcing teams, Merchandising, Product Development, Supply Chain, and more to solve problems and build, pilot and roll out improvements in strategy & operations .
  • Communicate: prepare and deliver executive friendly presentations and documents to seek leadership buy-in as well as share strategic priorities. Build clear, compelling, actionable visualizations that would enable leadership & teams to better understand underlying data and drive decisions

  • Strategy & Strategic Planning: Developing Long term visioning, translating vision into action plans; Phasing & prioritization of initiatives, ability to shape 5 year long range plans keeping in mind company, BU vision
  • Adaptability: Quickly learn a business / solution / offering to collaborate with line teams and leaders; adjust to changes and find solutions as situations evolve
  • Analytic Reasoning: Extract & analyze market data, internal company data, generating insights from large datasets; Proficiency with Spreadsheets
  • Cross-functional coordination: Visualize & understand cross-functionally of initiatives and projects across multiple BUs; Collaboratively extend initiatives through multiple BUs and teams
  • Influencing for impact: Drive actions and decisions by leaders and teams by presenting your ideas, solutions, or recommendations in a way that appeals to their logic, emotions, and values
  • Stakeholder management: Set and manage expectations with Officers (VPs, SVPs) and other senior leaders; convince leadership and teams of the benefits of initiatives and build their support to execute and roll out change initiatives;
  • Thought partnership: Think through with business leads about future state vision, key priorities; Be a change agent by challenging status quo and making future initiatives truly transformational
  • Visualization: Creating compelling, easy to use dashboards / visualizations with PowerBI or Tableau
  • Persuasive communications: Written communications (PowerPoint decks, memos, emails; incl. Exec Summaries) factoring in Smart Brevity; and Verbal (Presentations to senior leadership) communication expertise

What you bring…

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, , or related area. MBA or similar graduate degree in above fields preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a role in strategy and operations, general management, business operations, management consulting, or investment banking, retail merchandising.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills a must. Proficiency with Business intelligence and Visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau is necessary. SQL proficiency is good to have.
  • Experience in leading large-scale strategic projects and proven success in driving a methodical process of analyzing problems, gathering information, generating options, and acting on a course of action.
  • Proficiency in business communication tools and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through storytelling.
  • Experience supporting, influencing, and presenting to senior executive leaders to drive change.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
