As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will be a vital member of the Amazon Sales Team, responsible for driving SharkNinja’s "Amazon Obsessed with Winning" performance management operating model. Reporting directly to the Sales Director for Amazon, the Senior Commercial Analyst will deliver customized data solutions for the US business, consolidating multiple data sources into actionable dashboards and reports that move the business from insight to action.

The Senior Commercial Analyst requires a strong partnership with our Center of Excellence teams to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and alignment with SharkNinja’s future data strategy. Additionally, you will manage daily projections, business analysis, and executive reporting to keep leadership informed of key performance metrics. The Senior Commercial Analyst will support the sales strategy by identifying growth opportunities, analyzing promotions and pricing, and assessing potential market threats, while collaborating with internal product teams to evaluate assortment productivity and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the "Amazon Obsessed with Winning" model by delivering daily performance projections, insights, and analysis for business tracking.
  • Design and implement custom data solutions and dashboards that integrate multiple data sources, supporting data-driven decision-making for the US business.
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence teams to maintain data integrity and align analytics with future data strategies.
  • Prepare executive reports on key performance indicators, providing leadership with actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to enhance sales performance and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth analytical research to provide assortment and promotion planning recommendations.
  • Manage and evaluate promotional plans by measuring ROI and margin productivity.
  • Deliver weekly competitor analysis, category insights, and SKU-level performance rankings, sharing actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports to monitor business health and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct pre- and post-promotion analyses to quantify brand and category impact.
  • Assess digital shelf presence through online store walks, ensuring optimal visibility and positioning of key products.
  • Identify, quantify, and communicate market and retailer trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales directors to support retailer meetings and strategic initiatives.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a strategic sales or commercial analytics environment.
  • Proven ability to develop custom data solutions and manage multiple data sources effectively.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
