Job Description:
As a Senior Business Consultant in the Energy Portfolio Management (EPM)) group you will be responsible for implementing software in the European energy markets for commodity trading around power, natural gas, renewables, and emissions products in Europe. The implementation will align with the business processes of our customers and support the trade life cycle from the front office, risk management, logistics, and back-office.
As part of the Customer Success Organization (CSO) you will be tasked with successfully implementing Hitachi Energy’s software solutions. You will help drive customer satisfaction while ensuring best practices are followed in a bold, fast-paced, innovative, and value-driven environment. Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding of business processes, project life cycle and implementing software solutions within the European energy market is required.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of software implementation and enhancement projects
- Assume hands on project implementation duties which includes gathering requirements, conducting workshops, developing implementation specifications and product configuration.
- Consult with key business stakeholders to determine business requirements and workflow processes.
- Document configuration designs, test plans and testing results in support of the implementation project plan
- Support technical resources involved in designing solutions to ensure coverage of business requirements and workflow.
- Plan and deliver project and end user training.
- Support Project Manager in resolving project issues and minimizing project risks.
- Establish strong customer relationships while ensuring delivery obligations are met
- Provide handover training and knowledge to Customer Experience (i.e., customer support) team

Your background
- 3+ years of software implementation experience or proven business experience in the energy market
- Experience working within the power or natural gas industry
- Requires prior experience with structured projects and implementation methodologies
- Demonstrated experience delivering SaaS solutions
- Good training development and delivery skills
- Team player with ability to achieve results through shared initiatives
- Ability to adhere and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication (written and verbal), leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills

For this position, a minimum basic salary according to CBA (employees in the electrical industry) from 3958,55 € gross per month applies. Depending on your qualifications and experience, there is readiness for CBA overpayment.
