About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and experienced Business Development professional to join the team developing iCapital’s enterprise presence in the US wealth channel, particularly focusing on managing and growing relationships with our largest clients in Private Banks and Wirehouses. This role will be instrumental in growing our impact with these clients and delivering new and innovative products and solutions. This individual will be part of the team that drives new business initiatives and leads the development of our GTM strategy. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prospecting new relationships, create compelling pitch decks, complete market analysis, engaging with clients through various channels, reviewing contracts, and organizing implementation efforts. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly across iCapital’s organization and to our success within the wealth management industry.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with both new clients and prospects, and within our existing client base. This responsibility involves close alignment, and partnership, with our Client Management team and other specialists within our organization.
  • Promote a consultative approach to identify and acquire new enterprise accounts who would use all, or parts, of iCapital’s proposition.
  • Educate clients on the depth of iCapital’s technology capabilities.
  • Provide detailed pipeline updates and reports to be shared with our Client Management teams and other interested internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate feedback from clients and prospects to the organization to improve delivery of solutions and improve the overall client experience.
  • Lead platform and system demonstrations for new prospects, lead responses to RFPs, and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams on client launches and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working within financial services industry, with 5+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management related role
  • Knowledge and experience with Alternative Investments
  • Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
  • Strong analytical skills with experience creating and analyzing financial models
  • Strategic mindset and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated client service skills with key stakeholders and clients
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $185,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
