Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manager Tax (India Indirect Tax Manager) to join Global Indirect Tax -Global Finance Services Division.

The incumbent would Lead India Indirect Tax matters, such as advise on new & existing business models, guide disclosures of important tax position in Indirect Tax Returns, supervise internal & external indirect tax audit/inquiry responses, support systems & process improvement projects, in collaboration with Global Teams.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield office.

 What you will do

  • Preparing and performing critical analysis on India indirect tax issue, utilizing tax technical rules to business environment.
     
  • Monitoring indirect tax developments (including on digital front) across India and analyzing impact of such changes on business operations.
     
  • Collaborating with business partners across India to provide indirect tax advice for facilitating business needs, including greenfield expansion.
     
  • Guiding stakeholders for disclosure of critical Indirect tax issues for statutory reporting across India, such as Indirect/Income Tax returns, Transfer Pricing studies, Annual Financial statements.
     
  • Supporting Indirect Tax audits/litigations across India, including supervising submissions made to the tax offices such as workpapers and calculations.
     
  • Supporting technology implementation and upgradations, process efficiencies, from an indirect tax perspective.

What you will have 

  • Qualified CA 
  • 10 years of Experience (Post qualification) in Industry or Big 4 Consulting.
  • Training in Big 4 preferred

Level Working Knowledge:

• Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns.
• Identifies the major forces, events and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand.
