Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in managing a team responsible for package software application development.
  • Support project execution and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior management on departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to the timely delivery of software solutions.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Coordinate communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Help identify and resolve project challenges.
  • SAP BASIS knowledge and understanding of SAP technologies and methodologies.
  • Providing BASIS support for projects involving HANA and S/4HANA
  • Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
  • Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
  • Build credible relationships with peers and clients and continuous professional learning of SAP products.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7 years plus Experience in SAP Basis administration, including experience in standard SAP procedures such as client copies, database refreshes, patching, transport management, upgrades, and performance tuning of database and SAP applications.
  • Install, configure, maintain(upgrade), and support SAP systems, including but not limited to Solution Manager, ECC, and BW, SRM, CRM, APO, Suite on Hana.
  • Experience with Performance tuning problem analysis for Oracle/Hana databases and SAP instances.
  • Work with SAP and Solution Manager to resolve problems. Configure Start, Default, and Instance Profiles.
  • Provide the production support team daily with any technical and performance problems.
  • Hana 2.0 HA, Oracle 19c 

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • +4 years of previous experience working across a range of implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
  • SAP Certifications in S/4HANA, OS/DB Migration, NetWeaver, and SAP HANA are preferred.
  • Experience working in large landscapes/environments/customers

Work Environment

  • Preferred Bilingual (French & English)
  • Hybrid: On-site at the client location for at least one day per week.
