Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                            Contribute to a team responsible for architecting, designing, and maintaining Billing Technology platforms to support major CARE functions; use Oracle Coherence to implement data grid technology; work with Couchbase as a NoSQL database; implement DevOps culture and environment on public and private clouds, including AWS; deploy CI/CD; implement security based on OAuth2.0 standard; develop, maintain, and enhance the in-memory data grid components to make them cloud-agnostic and scale them out for software that conducts activations, provisioning and billing components for consumers; deploy, manage, and scale applications using Cloud-Foundry (PaaS) platform; utilize Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream frameworks; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; design new software and web applications; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:            Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience using Oracle Coherence to implement data grid technology; working with Couchbase as a NoSQL database; implementing DevOps culture and environment on public and private clouds, including AWS; deploying CI/CD; implementing security based on OAuth2.0 standard; deploying, managing and scaling applications using Cloud-Foundry (PaaS) platform; of which one (1) year include utilizing Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream frameworks.
