Significant growth across the globe together with the exciting new opportunities that have come from the recent acquisition by Metropolis Technologies has created the need for an Implementation Manager, with specific focus on supporting and growing our USA client base.

 

The Role

This role will be overseeing tasks for multiple new airport site implementations across the US. Working cross functionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are on track to achieve our implementation timelines.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Developing detailed project plans that outline the scope, resources, timeline, and deliverables for each implementation.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive implementation process.
  • Leading, mentoring and growing a team of implementation professionals; initially with 1 direct line report with an expectation to grow a team as the number of concurrent implementations increases.
  • Communicating effectively with clients to understand their business processes and tailor implementations to their specific needs.
  • Managing client expectations and providing regular updates to ensure transparency throughout the implementation phase.
  • Identifying potential risks and issues early in the project, and proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops for clients to facilitate the adoption of new systems or processes.
  • Ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget, adjusting plans as necessary to address any changes or challenges.
  • Monitoring the post-implementation environment to ensure the solution is functioning as intended and providing the expected benefits.
  • Documenting best practices and lessons learned to refine the implementation methodology for future projects.
  • Assisting with the creation of support materials, such as user guides and FAQs, to aid clients in the transition to new systems or processes

 

Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or implementation management
  • Experience working with airports and airport systems, ideally with a background in ecommerce or online reservations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to champion complex projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Ability to travel as needed to client sites across the US
  • Willingness to work occasional irregular hours to accommodate US and UK time zones
  • Close proximity to Metropolis airport/location/office preferred

The anticipated base salary for this position is $105,000.00 to $140,000.00. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
