Intern IT Summer 2025
The Hypertherm Associates Information Technology – Digital Manufacturing or Developer Intern will work with our Information Technology Team.
Under the mentorship of a member of the Information Technology Team, you (the Intern) will participate in supporting the Manufacturing Operations within the IT function, (depending on the area) including:
Data Management, Systems Configuration, Business Analysis, Testing, Project Management, and Technical Analysis.
Understanding of Azure OpenAI Prompt Engineering, Data Analytics, Power BI is great to have.
Develop proof-of-concept solutions using cutting edge Microsoft cloud capabilities (e.g., Power Virtual Agent bots, web apps and process automation using Power Apps/Automate, AI/NLP/LLM backed solutions, etc.)
These roles will work side by side with IT and Manufacturing professionals and participate in multiple initiatives. The objective will be to further your insight within the discipline and utilize your academic knowledge gained in school to help understand the professional business IT field.
You will work alongside outstanding colleagues who will help you learn and develop your skills. Cultivate relationships with your intern cohort as you participate in fun and rewarding activities throughout the summer, including networking opportunities, community service, and resume/interview workshops.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Communication college degree program
Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior (you have completed a minimum of 2 years) and are in good standing
Must have PC experience, including an understanding of network drives and SharePoint navigation
Enthusiastic about learning with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently on selected projects
