*Key Responsibilities: **

- Install, commission, and maintain industrial chillers, provision refrigeration plants, and HVAC systems on marine vessels and at marine facilities.

- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency and meet environmental and safety standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across a variety of systems, focusing on chillers and refrigeration units, while maintaining proficiency with HVAC system components.

- Overhaul compressors and other critical components within these systems, enhancing their reliability and performance.

- Collaborate with marine engineers to optimize refrigeration layouts and schedules, minimizing downtime and operational interference.

- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all technical procedures, system modifications, and compliance checks.

- Provide expert guidance and training to junior technicians, emphasizing the specifics of chillers, provision plants, and refrigeration systems in a marine context.

- Stay current with technological advancements in marine refrigeration and HVAC systems, integrating new techniques and equipment into existing frameworks.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician with specialized knowledge in refrigeration, including chillers, provision plants, and large-scale refrigeration units.

- Proficiency in installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and overhauling complex refrigeration systems, with additional expertise in HVAC technologies.

- Relevant certifications in HVAC and Refrigeration Technology, with additional training or certifications geared towards marine applications preferred.

- Strong technical skills, including the ability to interpret detailed schematics and operational manuals specific to marine refrigeration and HVAC systems.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quick and efficient resolution of technical issues in challenging marine environments.

- Excellent physical condition, capable of handling the rigorous demands of working on marine vessels and in port facilities.

- Effective communication skills, suitable for coordinating with diverse teams and providing customer support.

- Proficiency in English is mandatory, enabling clear communication in technical and operational contexts. 

**Working Conditions:**

This role requires working in varied marine settings, which can be physically demanding and sometimes hazardous. Technicians need to adapt to the constrained and dynamic conditions found on ships and at port facilities. Flexible working hours, including potential night and weekend shifts, are often necessary to accommodate the operational timelines of marine clients.
