Job Description

As a Data Engineer in D&A Scaled Analytical Products, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to acquire, transform, and optimize data from various sources. Your technical expertise and innovative mindset will be instrumental in building scalable data pipelines and ensuring data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data solutions that acquire, transform, and optimize data from diverse sources

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Build scalable data pipelines to enable efficient data processing and analysis

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes

  • Contribute to the development of data models and data architecture

  • Leverage coding standards, CICD and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components

  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver actionable insights

  • Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in the data engineering field and propose innovative solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure

  • Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL

  • Knowledge of delta lake, database systems and query optimization

  • Understanding of data governance and data privacy principles

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Familiarity with DevOps and CICD process and toolset such as Github and Azure DevOps

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
