Position Summary
CVS Health’s Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A&BC leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and a hypothesis-driven approach to quickly transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights to drive growth, improve health outcomes and access to health care across all of our businesses in CVS Health. We are responsible for understanding the data flow from a business perspective to create a solution architecture to model the business. Our data teams build next generation data and machine learning platforms and products in the cloud that help power CVS Health to make healthier happen for 100+ million customers.
The A&BC organization is looking to grow its Strategy & Product team. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey to drive a transformational shift in how CVS Health leverages technology and analytics to become the leader in healthcare in the U.S.
CVS Health has a distinctively comprehensive lens into elements of healthcare across the care journey. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to cocreate innovative products built on one of the largest single-source data libraries in healthcare. You will work hand-in-hand with prospective and existing enterprise clients and with internal stakeholders to explore new growth opportunities for data products. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating between business and technical concepts, fluidly working across both external and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of unmet market needs, supported by strong relationships with prospective clients and industry experts
Explore new data assets and capabilities, partnering closely with data engineering and data science, to gain expertise of unique characteristics and limitations
Facilitate creative problem solving and prioritization across teams
Scope and iterate on new data product hypotheses alongside prospective clients
Draft, refine and communicate business cases to key stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in
Scope and launch pilots to drive insights through CVS Health data
You will be working in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in our CVS Health office in NYC.
Required Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in product management, business development, data strategy, or management consulting
2+ years’ experience in healthcare / digital health, with exposure to data and analytics
Proficient with introductory data analysis (e.g. SQL)
Passionate about exploring the unknown and unafraid of ambiguity
Proven track record of strategy work and / or product definition, launch, and management
Strong communication with peers and senior leaders, both 1:1 and in small groups
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders and customers as well as business concepts and requirement to Data Science, Engineering, and other technical teams
Passionate about making healthcare more efficient and want to be part of a transformational change to making it more consumer friendly
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$111,240.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
