B41 API Milling & Micronizing area Operator. 2nd shift (primary 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM M-F with overtime before/after shift and on weekends as needed). Performs required duties in operating a variety of equipment used in the micronizing, drying, mixing and/or combining of chemicals to manufacture finished pharmaceuticals in assigned area of the division. Dependent on area of assignment, this includes the combining or processing of a wide variety of raw and intermediary materials used in the manufacturing of finished pharmaceutical products and packaging of finished APIs and intermediates. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks in support of the Department mission.
You will be operating automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures. You will perform quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identify variations. You will be trained in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures as these processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions.
As part of technical operations, you will be a team member who is relied to have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge.

Must - Have
High school diploma / general education degree (GED) and 6 months related experience or military experience.
Nice - to Have
Candidates with prior experience in a chemical or formulation manufacturing environment preferred .

Physical Demands: Considerable standing, walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting, and moving of containers up to 25 kg
Work Environment: Frequent exposure to airborne particles; must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.

The salary for this position ranges from $18.74 to $31.23 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
