We are searching for the best talent for Experienced Analyst-Procurement .

Purpose:

Documents advanced end-to-end supply chain planning and execution project plans for core customer setup initiatives, including national provider identifier projects, demand consolidation, supply chain parameters and thresholds in preparation for final delivery.

Applies in-depth knowledge of purchase order management to engage associated supplier and vendor relationships to provide key support for new product development and launch, collaborating closely with procurement and sourcing to integrate those initiatives into the supply chain end-to-end delivery solution.

Conducts routine monitoring of core team members and supply chain partner progress, to ensure that demand, supply, and capacity plans and processes comply with the company’s supply chain standards and protocol.

Coordinates data integrity and accuracy activities related to systems databases to ensure that systems meet the customers’ specific needs.

Research supply chain solutions and summarizes recommendations to management for process improvements, as well as ideas for ongoing quality checks and balances at all team member levels.

Identify opportunities to improve customer-specific supply chain delivery solutions and provide analysis and recommendations for final tailoring and refining to ensure delivery excellence.

Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

You will be responsible for:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Procurement Plan Execution

  • Develop and execute the procurement plan for expansions projects.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and contractors needed for the projects.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers and contractors.

Logistics and Equipment Receipt Management

  • Work with the GTTO (Global Technology and Technical Operations) team to coordinate logistics and equipment receipt in Costa Rica.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are received and stored properly.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.

Invoice and Documentation Management

  • Manage and process invoices from suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for project closure (IO closure).
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with suppliers and contractors.

On-Site Asset Finance Tagging Support

  • Provide support for on-site asset finance tagging.
  • Ensure all assets are properly identified and recorded.

Costa Rica Supplier Network Development

  • Develop and maintain a network of local suppliers in Costa Rica.
  • Identify and evaluate new potential suppliers and contractors.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services.

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • University bachelor’s degree in engineering, any specialty.
  • Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience.
  • Advanced English.
  • Effective communication in English and Spanish across functions and both internally/externally.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES, AND AFFILIATIONS

  • Leadership experience.
  • Negotiation experience.
  • Technical and practical ability fundamental for procurement and engineering areas applicable to the transfer project.
  • Ability and knowledge to place PO’s into J&J MedTech internal systems.
  • Ability to continue monitoring the PO process since the creation until the delivery of the purchased product.
  • Ability to integrate into work groups.
  • Knowledge of the product manufactured by the Company.
  • Knowledge about the trade operations and regulations for Costa Rica free trade zone.
  • Advance ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with specific discipline.
  • Capacity to successfully complete the departmental/corporate courses of training in manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP).
  • Ability to use computers and related software.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan.
  • Able to work in a Clean Room environment requiring gowning.
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to support cross functional teams including GTTO, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Operations, Engineering and Logistics.
