Senior AI/ML Engineer

In this role you will…

  • Manage the full lifecycle of AI/ML models in production, ensuring seamless integration with GSK’s infrastructure, from development and deployment to scaling and decommissioning

  • Monitor and maintain production models, optimizing their performance and proactively addressing potential issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient AI/ML infrastructure that meets enterprise standards for security, reliability, and performance.

  • Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging tools and technologies to enhance model performance, scalability, and robustness

  • Ensure all deployments meet GSK’s security, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience.

  • Deep understanding of statistics and mathematics for model analysis

  • Proficiency in Python, R, and Bash for model development and scripting.

  • 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a related field.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and preparation to support AI/ML model development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines for automated model deployment.

  • Understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
