Aircraft Mechanic to maintain and provide ongoing general maintenance of a Global 6500 aircraft. Perform ongoing maintenance to include routine servicing, aircraft launch, recovery,  troubleshooting & diagnosis, phase inspections and flight line repair using standard operating procedures and manufacturing specifications in the maintenance process. Requires strong ability to utilize precision tools while performing diagnois, repairs and modifications.  Perform maintenance task in a timely manner while delivering a clean, safe quality product with attention to detail on the completed task.   

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform duties within the hangar facility and aircraft movement area in a safe manner.
  • Interpret and follow technical publications including basic schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and instructions.
  • Perform daily pre and post flight inspections.
  • Service aircraft fuel/oil/hydraulic/oxygen/nitrogen systems
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Perform rigging of engine, propeller, flight, and landing gear systems
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning mechanical, electrical and avionics systems and provide effective solution.
  • Document work performed on appropriate forms and in electronic systems acceptable to the administrator.
  • Provide signature of certification of the work performed.
  • Maintain aircraft appearance and cleanliness.
  • Submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
  • “Clean as you go” in the work area and follow all safety rules.
  • Work hours may be adjusted for operational requirements.
  • Perform all required training assigned in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Lead Mechanic

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Current FAA A&P License
  • Have a current US civilian driver's license
  • Must have a basic understanding of integrated avionics
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must have working knowledge of aircraft safety directive compliance (SL, SB, AD)
  • Must be able to work shifts as assigned and travel as required to support operations
  • Experience using common or special hand tools and test equipment as required for aircraft maintenance
  • Must complete DoT drug test to determine the presence of illegal or un-prescribed controlled substances
  • Must have knowledge of aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards during flight line operations
  • Must have knowledge of using aircraft technical publications with the ability to read and interpret basic schematic diagrams, drawings, and charts
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as maintenance database and tracking software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Avionics Experience
  • Experience with jet aircraft preferred

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00
