Red Hat is looking for an experienced Agile Practice Manager. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of Agile Coaches, guiding them to effectively implement and improve Agile methodologies across our Hybrid Platforms portfolio, which includes Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of Agile practices, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching your team, and facilitating continuous learning. Your goal will be to foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement, and support the adoption of Agile practices with a mission to help the Hybrid Platforms business in its agile transformation.

What will you do

  • Work with the team to support our agile transformation journey
  • Arrange for training and publish documentation that supports these efforts.
  • Engage with leaders across the Hybrid Platforms organization to identify their needs and priorities, and to recommend next steps in their Agile journey.
  • Focus on respectful adoption of practices through the identification and resolution of existing challenges.
  • Foster an environment of shared ownership across PM, Dev, QE, Docs and other teams contributing to the delivery of the Hybrid Platforms products and services.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement practices for the ever-evolving team.
  • Improve channels of communication.

What will you bring

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, mentoring, coaching, collaboration, negotiation, and team building
  • Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership with development teams
  • Demonstrated track record of coaching teams & programs at varying maturity levels using Agile methods
  • Creative approach to problem solving; ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
  • Data-driven analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of strategies from planning through to delivery.

The Following Are Considered a Plus

  • Experience with Jira
  • Knowledge of the Red Hat products and application container technology
  • Understanding and appreciation of Open Source software development
