Job Description: IBM Security Verify Access We are seeking a skilled IBM Security Verify Access Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IBM Security Verify Access (formerly known as IBM Security Access Manager) solutions to provide secure authentication and single sign-on capabilities for enterprise applications and services. The IBM Security Verify Access Engineer will work closely with our clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure the reliability and security of Verify Access infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain IBM Security Verify Access solutions to provide secure authentication and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities for web and mobile applications. • Develop and implement Verify Access configurations, authentication policies, and access control rules to enforce security policies and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with application owners, developers, and system administrators to integrate applications with Verify Access and optimize performance. • Configure and manage Verify Access components, including reverse proxy servers, authentication servers, and policy servers. • Monitor Verify Access infrastructure for security threats, vulnerabilities, and performance issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security policies. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Verify Access configurations, connectivity, and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for Verify Access administration and configuration management. • Stay up-to-date with the latest IBM Security Verify Access technologies, features, and best practices to continuously improve Verify Access infrastructure and capabilities. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist with knowledge sharing and training initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience working as an IBM Security Verify Access Engineer or a similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment. • In-depth knowledge of IBM Security Verify Access architecture, configuration, and administration. • Hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Access appliances, including WebSEAL, Reverse Proxy, and Policy Server. • Strong understanding of authentication protocols and standards, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP. • Experience with web server technologies, such as Apache HTTP Server and IBM HTTP Server (IHS). • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Security Access Manager V9.0, are a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
