Mission and responsibilities:

The compliance operations specialist will work in the BAU of the Compliance Ops team.

The main tasks of this position will be the following:

  • Supervision of the day to day activities of the First Line of Defense (transaction monitoring / sanctions and PEP screening).
  • Perform quality assurance reviews in accordance with AML policies and departmental procedures within established timeframes.
  • Promote the continuous improvement of the compliance related processes in terms of quality, efficiency and automatization of internal procedures.
  • Produce reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics using established procedures.

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Minimum of 3/4 years experience in AML/CTF in a financial institution compliance department.
  • Experience with relevant compliance laws and regulations.
  • Experience with analysis of transaction monitoring and sanctions screening alerts.
  • Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or Law.
  • Fluent English.
