As a Senior Compliance Administrator, you will provide support to plan sponsors on plan design, administration of plan provisions, and managing compliance testing based on regulatory requirements. With an understanding of the plans, the census data required, and the testing results you serve as a consultant to plan sponsors on any issues that arise during the annual testing process.  Working on departmental projects and with Consulting Services will open opportunities to grow additional skills. Monitoring plan activities, including contributions and distributions, calculating vesting, and working with various departments across the organization for our full-service clients are some of your additional responsibilities.

We want to hear from you today if you:

  • Ensure all regulatory and departmental deadlines are satisfied by providing a timely turn-around
  • Perform nondiscrimination testing (including 402(g), 415(c), ADP, ACP, Top Heavy, Coverage - ratio percent and average benefits, 414(s) Compensation)
  • Have ASC compliance testing system experience and quickly become self-sufficient in operating day-to-day administrative systems
  • Actively participates in departmental projects to improve processes and procedures
  • Identify opportunities to consult with clients to simplify and/or improve plan design
  • Partner with management to present proposed changes to clients

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience with defined contribution plans: 403(b), 401(k), and 401(a)
  • 3+ years’ experience with nondiscrimination testing and controlled group complexities
  • Compliance testing systems experience required (ASC is preferred)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to present information of a complex nature to all levels of management
  • Strong project, research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and with a team in a results/deadline driven environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • QKA, CPC, CEBS, TGPC designations preferred.

For positions based in Woodland Hills, CA, and Jersey City, NJ the base salary range is $70,000-80,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
