We are hiring for a Warehouse Driver to help produce Orville Redenbacher Popcorn and Act II Popcorn at our Rensselaer, IN manufacturing facility. You will report to the warehouse manager. You will operate a forklift and robots.  You will perform periodic checks to ensure quality standards and trouble shoot light mechanical problems.

Shift: 3-2-2 schedule | 12 hour shifts 7-7 | Rotate days to nights every 4 months

Location:  750 E Drexel Pkwy, Rensselaer, IN  47978

Hourly Rate: $21.50 an hour

Essential Functions

  • Move materials & load/unload trucks.
  • Change recharges batteries on the forklift.
  • Stack/load pallets.
  • Supply production lines with material.
  • Comply with PPE & GMP requirements.
  • Verify manufacturing process and quality standards.
  • Trouble shoot problems.
  • Performs a safety check & mechanical inspection of the forklift before operating the vehicle.
  • Maintains required production and quality documentation.
  • Complies with safety rules and regulations.
  • Cooperates / assists co-workers as required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Performs housekeeping & sanitation tasks.

Do You Have What It Takes:

  • Basic to moderate computer and iPad skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic mathematical skills such as measuring, averaging, and ranges
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Forklift experience required
  • Computer/SAP knowledge recommended.

Work Environment Requirements:

  • You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions including noise, hot, cold, and dust.
