This is a hybrid position requiring work in-office at least one day per week.

Pay range is $25–$27 per hour, DOE, and the following benefits:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Bookkeeping specialists will manage the books for 8–12 Audigy bookkeeping members. As a bookkeeping specialist, you will handle routine financial transactions for your members to accurately report monthly financial records.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

  • Income and expense recognition
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable entry and reporting
  • Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Provide weekly updates to members, their staff, and SBU teams in an effective and intelligent manner
  • Assist with OMS (Office Management System) setup and mapping
  • Responsible for general ledger maintenance throughout the year and record necessary journal entries monthly and at year-end
  • Prepare books at year-end and submit data and back to members’ CPAs, then record adjusting journal entries when they are returned
  • Assist the SBU finance manager with any analysis and questions

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge and experience of accounting and finance principles
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks quickly and efficiently

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or bachelor’s in accounting, finance, business, or related field (preferred)
  • Intermediate computer and software skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software experience
  • Two-plus years of experience in accounting

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Hybrid work environment (work in office minimum one day per week with occasional additional days as necessary for meetings and events)
  • Full-time position working Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK DEMANDS:

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. This position will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
