The Team:

You will become a member of the Corporate Actions Group. We provide solutions to all stakeholders in the corporate actions space. Our key clients are the Tier-1 Custodians, Asset Managers and Investment Banks. We see growth in providing solutions to asset managers, wealth managers and other stake holders in the capital markets space.

The Impact:

The Specialist, Product Training will work with various stakeholders involved in the project, closely collaborating with Product Managers and acting as the primary point of contact for clients, development, and Quality teams to deliver product enhancements. This role involves finalizing the scope, identifying gaps, defining client requirements, and assisting clients in defining their test suites and acceptance criteria. The Specialist, Product Training should understand the existing business processes of clients and how the target state operational process is configured onto the platform, producing artifacts and conducting product training on optimal product configuration for the client.

The role requires excellent management, written, and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and coordination abilities, and analytical expertise. The successful candidate should be process-oriented and have a thorough understanding of the product development lifecycle. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to adapt to changes, leading multiple projects and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of product training documentation: Develop comprehensive training materials, online resources, and certification programs for our products and technologies.
  • Deliver training: Conduct training sessions internally, online, and on-site with clients worldwide, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Focus on business analysis and product documentation: Collaborate with product leads to understand product requirements, becoming a subject matter expert (SME) for specific areas.
  • Lead product consultancy/SME efforts: Assist clients throughout the project lifecycle and post go-live, ensuring a seamless client experience and optimal product utilization.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation: Ensure all components are documented accurately, reflecting the latest features and enhancements.
  • Understand client business and product usage: Gain deep insights into the business processes of assigned clients, tailoring training and documentation to meet their specific needs.
  • Stay current with new features: Keep up-to-date with the latest functionality enhancements in supported applications to provide the most relevant training and support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Conduct optimal training: Train clients on the most effective future state operational processes and related product configurations.
  • Open to travel: Be willing to travel for work as needed to deliver on-site training and support.

What We’re Looking For:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology.
  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior experience in Capital Markets, Post Trade automation, and Corporate Actions is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating proactive leadership in multiple streams.
  • Understanding of the Agile software development process and overall project lifecycle.
  • Enthusiasm for Agile processes and new technologies.
  • Experience in issue troubleshooting.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and change management processes is preferred.
