The Wealth Management Intern works closely with Wealth Advisors and Investment Analysts who guide clients on how to invest, manage and deploy financial assets. They enter in contact with a wide range of clients including individuals, business owners and families with sophisticated financial planning and wealth management needs to help realize their unique goals.

The Spring Wealth Management Internship will focus on tax preparation for Wealth Management clients. This includes, organizing and uploading tax documents, preparing tax returns and projects related to estimated tax payments.

  • Exposure to a variety of clients and wealth advisory solutions
  • Support in various assignments consisting of developing financial plans, conducting research and analysis of various asset classes, investment strategies and individual securities, identifying client investment goals, risk profiles and objectives, and reviewing investment portfolios

  • Participate in continuous learning and leadership development workshops

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management and/or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to pursue a career within wealth management
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment


Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $25.00
