The work
Join our SAP Advisory team, where strategy meets technology. We guide clients through the early stages of their transformation journey — shaping technology roadmaps, evaluating solution options, and defining architecture blueprints. Positioned between business strategy and delivery execution, our team ensures that every SAP-enabled transformation begins with clarity, alignment, and a future-ready design.
As a Technology Consultant in our SAP Advisory team, you'll work closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to assess current-state landscapes, define modern enterprise architectures, and recommend technology strategies that align with business priorities. You won’t be expected to implement everything yourself — your role is to advise, design, and shape the solution before handing over to delivery teams.

What You’ll Do
Advisory & Strategy
· Partner with enterprise architects, IT leaders, and functional stakeholders to align technology decisions with business goals.
· Translate business capabilities into future-state technology architectures that support scalability, extensibility, and operational efficiency.
· Clearly articulate the rationale and approach behind innovations on the SAP platform, helping clients understand both strategic value and technical feasibility.
· Develop client-facing proposals on complex technical topics, translating architectural concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
· Leverage Accenture’s proven methodologies, tools, and accelerators to enhance delivery quality and speed across engagements.
Solution Architecture & Governance
· Define deployment roadmaps across greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid scenarios — balancing innovation with risk management.
· Shape the blueprint and design phases of SAP transformations, ensuring a strong foundation for implementation teams.
· Assess enterprise application landscapes and recommend modernization strategies based on clean core, composable, and cloud-native principles.
· Establish integration strategies and governance frameworks to support cohesive, cross-platform solutions.
· Guide the use of key SAP platform technologies to meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and maintainability.
Collaboration & Enablement
· Engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences to convey architectural decisions and their business impact.
· Act as a liaison between strategy consultants and technical delivery teams, ensuring continuity and clarity across phases.
· Support early-stage evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and tool selections to help clients make informed decisions.
Preferred Technical Background (One or More Focus Areas)
We do not expect candidates to bring expertise in all areas below. A deep specialization in one, and familiarity with others, is more than sufficient:
1. SAP BTP Administration & Governance – Experience managing and securing BTP environments, including subaccount setup, entitlements, and platform governance.
2. SAP BTP Development (CAP/RAP) – Development using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model or RESTful ABAP Programming Model for scalable application design.
3. Enterprise Integration – Designing robust integrations with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or similar iPaaS platforms.
4. Clean Core Development – Expertise in modern ABAP or RAP-based development with a focus on extensibility and upgrade resilience.
5. Application Lifecycle Management – Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM or similar tools for project tracking, testing, and release management.

Here’s what you’ll need
· Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or bachelor degree and strong relevant experience.
· 2 - 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP (technical design, architecture, or implementation).
· Excellent communication skills to influence both IT and non-IT stakeholders, bridging the gap between business goals and technology possibilities.
· Familiarity with SAP methodologies (Activate, Agile, DevOps) to streamline project delivery and governance.
· Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, often spanning different geographies and time zones.
· Demonstrated skill in interpreting business requirements and integrating them into cohesive, future-ready SAP solutions.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to travel as required.

We also value experience or certifications in the following areas — particularly where you’ve acted as a subject matter expert or used them in strategic planning:
· LeanIX – Application portfolio and enterprise architecture modeling.
· SAP Signavio – Business process analysis and transformation planning.
· Technical Architecture – Serving as a lead architect on large-scale ERP programs, translating strategic goals into technical design decisions.
