KYC Checker is an intermediate-level position responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
  • Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with local regulation and Citi standards
  • Make sure KYC forms and client profiles are updated according to policy requirements
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure information is remediated correctly before due dates, and within prescribed SLA
  • Perform other KYC tasks, including prioritization, monitoring and tracking of the KYC records and Appendix approval process, assisting with the development and execution of action planning for quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring records are not past due

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in KYC Quality Control or Quality Assurance /checking/compliance preferred
  • Knowledge of navigating corporate legal documents is an asset
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)
  • Good command of other European language is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight time frames
  • Ability to work as the team player
  • Analytical and good organizational skills are an asset
  • Willingness to learn and manage in a constantly changing environment
  • Microsoft skills
