The Service Sales Program Leader, BSNA will manage and lead projects, programs and/or other business initiatives to deliver growth and profitability within the Building Solutions, North America (BSNA) Commercial space focused on recurring and non-recurring services.  This individual will facilitate and lead these programs cross-functionally with heavy focus on program management and continuous improvement processes ensuring each function/domain/initiative owners manages their deliverables to meet the schedules, scopes, target achievement, and budget.  The Service Sales Program Leader will also represent BSNA Service Sales Enablement at regular accountability and cadence meetings and will be responsible for clearly and concisely presenting the status and performance of all open projects to groups of leadership & stakeholders.  Works under minimal direction and in conjunction with leaders across all functional groups. Leads teams to resolve challenges and to address opportunities related to the portfolio.  Work is highly strategic in nature. This is a U.S. based remote position. The ideal candidate will come from a large, matrixed, global company handling this type of role. Looking for an executive leader who has strong change management expertise. 

 

How you will do it

 

Lead team meetings with all functional areas to track progress, identify issues and develop action plans.

 

Initiate, plan and implement programs to deliver scope within budget and on-time.  

Programs will include:

·        Building Sales Leader (BSL) content and training

·        Lead Efforts on Proactive Service Recommendations (PSRs)

·        Drive Open Blue Offerings

·        Sales Manager on-boarding

·        Sales Manager, and Region Leader Weekly and Monthly Sales Calls

·        Help drive Contests and SPIF's

·        Update Sales SharePoint Sites,

·        Liaison between BSNA and Marketing

·        Capacity modeling with Global Commercial Ops

Operationalize through full implementations, planning for the full impact to the business to avoid disruptions and surprises, including but not limited to:

·        Communications

·        Education (L&D)

·        Tool Enhancements (with IT as applicable), SFDC, CPQ

·        Processes, Policies, Procedures and Work instructions (Acadia & HUB)

·        Motivation

·        Change Management

·        Analyze data results, formulate improvement strategies, operationalize corrective action, own target completion

·        Work with cross functional team to ensure programs have robust commercialization and operational strategies and tactics

·        Manage program critical path and risks with transparency and robust mitigation and contingency plans

·        Work with the transformation team, as an initiative owner, to meet financial targets of assigned projects

·        Work closely with the markets  for all to become “best in class” when it comes to the adoption of the new programs which may require managing an “improvement” plan for them to deliver on the set critical metrics, and being creative in designing ways to help each market achieve the best outcome ( ex: Building a team of champions, designing key KPIs, building a recognition award program, etc.).

·        Interject field and customer perspective into sales enablement initiatives – partnering with marketing and commercial operations on campaigns and campaign performance

·        Work closely with IT and other organizations to define solutions that meet the needs of the business.  This will include leading workouts, building the ROI, seeking support across the matrix organization, using data to define the plan and next steps as well as clearly defining roles and responsibility throughout the program management phases to deliver results and hold people accountable.  

·        Establish and maintain a regular cadence necessary to deliver expected business results

·        Ensure completeness of program deliverables and maintain requisite metrics and scorecards

·        Prepare for and report on program status communicating progress on any identified issues

·        Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

 

What we look for

 

Required

·        Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or technical degree with 10 years of experience in project leadership. 

·        Strong knowledge of field HVAC, Fire, or Security commercial (Sales) business, selling models and tools including CRM.

·        Change management demonstrated success

·        Demonstrate the ability to influence in a global matrix organization

·        Ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment, including in front of C-level and VP-level stakeholders

·        Experience with a wide variety of structured problem-solving processes and reporting tools

·        Excellent understanding of financial concepts

 

Preferred:

·        5 years Sales Management experience

·        Experience working in distributed field-based direct sales organizations
