PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Member of the HR Shared Services team responsible for leading the team of in-country HR Managers who will manage, implement, and execute HR programs and strategies. The Director will engage with all business, CoE, and HR stakeholders, develop and implement service deliverables and all associated key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, and continuous quality improvement. This position reports to the Sr. Director of HR Shared Services.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall success of the HR Management teams in-country through direction, expertise, communication, and support through participative and conscious leadership. The HR Managers are responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery and support of HR programs, policies, and local legal requirements and may include HR administration, regulatory requirements, total rewards, talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement and retention programs, and collective bargaining administration.
- Ensures teams are applying HR policies and employee programs fairly and consistently in accordance with Company core values and mission, Human Rights, Workplace Rights and Labor and Employment Principles, Global Social and Labor Standards Policy, Diversity & Inclusion, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and the Suppliers Code of Conduct.
- Works in strong collaboration with team colleagues, Strategic HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and other business leaders to meet business objectives and to ensure standardization and consistent execution of processes and employee experiences globally, sharing best practice recommendations and continuous improvement solutions.
- Addresses concerns of a diverse scope and demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Continuously assesses quality of work, adherence to SOP and SLA’s and remediates as necessary.
- May partake in or direct others in the appeals process.
- Participates in or directs others in policy development and supports the communication and implementation of policies.
- Uses data tools and people related metrics to diagnose and identify trends and develop proactive steps to avoid recurring issues.
- Stays current on employment and labor practices.
- Responsible for team management including performance, hiring, retention, staffing levels, performance appraisals, coaching and development opportunities.
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Has 10+ years of progressive experience directly in Human Resources with a broad understanding of European employment law and HR programs i.e. total rewards, talent acquisition, learning and development, and HR administration.
- Demonstrated ability to be an agent of change. Must be able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
- Is resilient and can navigate challenging or difficult situations with the ability to hold crucial conversations.
- Collaborates at all levels through listening, sharing and building upon ideas, challenging others’ ideas respectfully, compromises and adapts in order to achieve common goals that are the best interests of the organization and the teams involved.
- Competence in software applications relating to human resources such as case management systems and Workday is preferred along with the suite of Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills - both written and verbal including English
- Can work independently and can manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Has strong business acumen in addition to Human Resources skills.
- Has an unquestionable commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and privacy.
- Healthcare experience a plus.
