Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Your expertise in ServiceNow IT Service Management will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Monitor and maintain the performance of critical business systems. - Identify and analyze software defects and provide timely resolutions. - Develop and implement effective strategies to improve system reliability and performance. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management. - Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices. - Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. - Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in service management. - Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript and PowerShell. - Good understanding of relational databases and SQL queries. - Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A BE degree is required.
