Role : MSSQL Database Administartor
Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
Must Have Skills :Minimum 5 Years Exp. in MSSQL Database Administartion, Knowledge on MySQL/Mongo/Postgre SQL too
Good To Have Skills :Cloud Knowledge (Azure/AWS)
Key Responsibilities :
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development database systems within a defined operating model and processes Provide L2/L3 software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands.
Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014 , 2016,2019 & 2022 RDBMS on large systems, Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures
Technical Experience :
In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.
Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
Install database management systems (RDBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Working knowledge on MSSQL Cluster, Log-shipping and Mirroring.
Database upgrade
Database Backup & Restore.
SQL Server Installation.
Monitoring SQL Server Logs
Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.Database
Daily database health check monitoring, tuning and minor SQL reviews.
Ticket handling includes incidents service requests and problem management.
Ability to articulate an issue and be responsive to client, handle client communication.
Configuration and release management. Ability to document Root cause analysis. Service Delivery per SLAs.
Database administration for Production and other environments, Backup and Recovery activities.
Ability to carry out DR activities and configure HA and clustering .
Performance Tuning. Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues .
Should be well versed on Database migration methodologies. Well versed in MSSQL/MYSQL and postgre Patching and upgrades and migration activities
Database optimization & Database security admin. On-call support based on project agreement. Work closely with affected parties to resolve issues

Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Should be able to initial level of trouble shootings Experience must have been gained in a production environment
