Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks professional, innovative, and detailed students for our Project Management Intern position. Candidates should be available full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year.

As a Project Management Intern, a typical day might include the following:

• Provide project management support to the department and project teams, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, generating meeting minutes, prepare presentations, creating and maintaining action item lists and driving project deliverables.

• Provide support to project teams including maintaining project files, creating and maintaining reports, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets.

• Manage simultaneous, small to medium sized projects as assigned.

• Provide support for large projects.

• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

• Understand. Create. Simplify.

• Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you, if you:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs

• Ability to learn and communicate technical information

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)

Pay Range Data

($21.20 - $28.75) * Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
