About the role

The Business  Analyst plays a critical role in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making and enhance sales performance within the Operations team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Support leadership teams and Operations to maintain data integrity, develop analytical capabilities, and provide valuable insights. Your primary responsibilities will include refining operational processes, analyzing sales data, and predicting sales trends.

As a Business  Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to boost sales efficiency

  • Offer actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness

  • Contribute to the formulation of sales plans and objectives

  • Leverage cutting-edge reporting and BI technologies to elevate reporting quality

Data Analysis:

  • Leverage advanced analytical methods to evaluate sales data and identify sales trends.

  • Identify correlations and causations in data to recommend data-driven strategies for sales growth.

  • Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis results.

Reporting:

  • Design and generate customized reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Track key performance metrics, sales pipeline progression, and goal attainment for sales teams.

  • Present findings and insights in clear, concise reports for stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Sales Strategy:

  • Partner with the products and sales enablement teams around pricing strategies, sales channels, and market segments to optimize revenue generation.

  • Evaluate sales performance against targets and recommend adjustments to sales strategies as needed.

Data Visualization:

  • Create compelling visualizations, graphs, and charts to present complex sales data in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format.

  • Use data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of sales performance.

  • Incorporate storytelling techniques into data visualizations to convey meaningful insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, share insights, and coordinate sales strategies.

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across departments.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

 

  • 5-plus years experience in a Sales Analyst or similar roll

  • Seasoned Sales Data Expert: As a Senior Business  Analyst, you are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales data analysis.

  • Leadership in Sales Analytics: You exhibit strong leadership qualities in sales analytics, guiding teams and stakeholders towards data-driven decisions and strategic sales initiatives.

  • Strategic Sales Visionary: You possess a strategic mindset and can leverage data insights to drive sales growth and enhance business performance.

  • Mentor and Advisor: You serve as a mentor to junior analysts, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth in the field of sales insights.

  • Continuous Innovator: You are committed to innovation in sales analytics, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance sales strategies and outcomes.

  • SQL, Databricks, ETL, SFDC, Python, and Tableau advanced knowledge
