Job Description:

The SLIMTC Marketing Specialist is primarily in-charge of the strategic and tactical marketing and business support initiatives of Sun Life Investment Management and Trust Corporation (SLIMTC) including, but not limited to (1) Branding, (2) Client Experience, Marketing Technology, Communication, (3) Leads Generation, Cross-Selling and Reselling, (4) Digital Marketing, and (5) Events Management. He/she is also responsible for the end-to-end SLIMTC customer journey from awareness, consideration, buy/re-buy, servicing and loyalty.

The Specialist collaborates with the Marketing Team of Sun Life Philippines (Sun Life PH) to ensure that all SLIMTC initiatives are aligned with the overall strategy and direction of the Sun Life group of companies. He/she supports Sun Life PH Marketing in the execution of strategic projects for SLIMTC. He/she manages the distribution support (marketing) team of SLIMTC.

Ensure SLIMTC Business goals of (1) branding, (2) client experience, marketing technology, and communication, (3) leads generation, cross-selling, and reselling, (4) digital marketing, and (5) events management are efficiently executed.

Branding 20%

  • Provides guidance to support the brand strategy and communication of SLIMTC and ensure that these are aligned with the overall branding strategy of Sun Life Philippines
  • Delivers the brand vision, mission and promise and help in promoting the brand to external and internal customers.

Client Experience, Marketing Technology and Communication 20%

  • Maintains brand integrity across all media assigned
  • Collaborates with functional areas to execute marketing plans
  • Executes marketing plans to achieve business goals.
  • Implements consumer and distributor promotions and/or campaigns to achieve specific sales targets, customer loyalty and retention.

Leads Generation, Cross-Selling and Reselling 20%

  • Handles the creation and implementation of campaigns to generate leads, to re-sell SLIMTC products, and cross-sell other Sun Life PH products and services.

Digital Marketing 20%

  • Leads digital marketing initiatives of SLIMTC to ensure relevance.

Events Management 20%

  • Ensures that tactical initiatives such as corporate events, booth activations, sales promos, sales-related events, client and distributor webinars, and other PR-related events) are carried out and executed, taking into consideration marketing-approved budget.
  • Supervises / handle events for clients and advisors, such as Advisor Market Updates (Kapihan), and other relevant events that promote SLIMTC and its products and services.
