Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leveraging industry knowledge and supporting account managers to be trusted client advisors while nurturing strong relationships. The role develops competitive pricing strategies and focuses on contract renewals and extensions to drive long-term revenue growth for the organization. The role monitors performance metrics, addresses client concerns, and mentors junior team members.
Responsibilities
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the industry and the organization’s offerings to act as a trusted advisor to the clients.
• Builds strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals to offer tailored solutions.
• Collaborates with pricing teams to establish competitive pricing strategies based on market research and customer feedback.
• Provides support to account managers in managing client relationships, driving pursuits, and renewing contracts.
• Addresses client concerns or issues to ensure clients are satisfied with offerings and maintain positive relationships.
• Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assists with post-sale activities, including ensuring a smooth handover to customer support teams to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Shares expertise and best practices with junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their sales goals.
• Stays current with and promotes the use of sales technologies, tools, and software that can enhance the sales process.
• Ensures that all sales activities adhere to industry regulations and organization policies.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $236,650 to $364,450 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix [Input the correct salary/incentive mix numbers based on the role]. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
