As a Business Development Manager for Micron’s Commercial Products Group Marketing Team, you will be responsible for driving memory and storage business growth for new and existing Micron accounts in the white box and systems integration markets of the Asia Pacific region.  Working cross functionally with sales, product line managers, product marketing managers, executives, customers, and other partners, you will plan, execute and monitor the regional plan for this channel segment!

The successful candidate will have outstanding business acumen and insight, combined with strong technical domain expertise for consumer/client memory and storage and how they intersect the white box / systems integration market. Candidates should have a proven track record of driving business growth along with extensive knowledge of the systems level ecosystem as well as direct white box /systems integration customer experience. Day-to-day responsibilities will center on working directly with Micron sales to ramp and grow Micron's channel memory and storage market.

Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Helping drive awareness and adoption for Micron consumer/client memory and storage products including memory components, memory modules, and solid state drives
  • Working closely with Sales to produce strong financial results for those products
  • Work with Micron's Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer demand and market segmentation to drive related forecasts
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape that enables understanding of Micron’s relative position at a product line, market, and customer level
  • Establish a deep understanding of the market’s TAM, SAM, and SOM down to a customer level
  • Communicate Micron's memory and storage product vision with customers and industry collaborators
  • Attend and present at key industry events
  • Understand the current & future trends in the consumer/client memory and storage market and evaluate which customers/ markets make commercial and economic sense for Micron to pursue
  • Partner with customers to understand key ecosystem, technology and innovation trends, and provide analysis to Product Line Managers to determine best fit for Micron's product plans

Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills including to customers, sales, and Senior Executive management
  • Ability to grasp sophisticated financial, technical, and marketing information
  • Demonstrated business insight and critical thinking skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of customers’ purchasing department structures and decision-making processes
  • Deep understanding of white box / systems integrator supply chain operations, compliance standards requirements, and product qualification and validation methods and requirements
  • Ability to speak & communication confidently with customers on technology trends
  • Ability to leverage existing customer relationships at White Box / Systems Integrators
  • A BS or BA degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing, MBA (Preferred) and 5+ years combined of product development, marketing, and customer experience in storage or technology-related field
  • Availability to travel regionally and internationally
