We’re looking for a highly motivated Multimedia Systems Engineer Intern to work with our experienced team of Demonstration Systems Engineers in the Product Design organization. You will work collaboratively with developers, engineers, product/project managers, legal, regulatory, and user experience to produce automated product demonstration platforms for the retail environment.  If you’re about user experience in the media space and want to strengthen your audio technology skills, then this is the internship for you!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Demonstration Operations, Demo Experience Designers, Media team, Engineers,
    and Product Owners to deliver compelling Retail Demonstration solutions.
  • Learn the nuances of internal/external disciplines that bring our retail demonstrations globally to life
  • Create various forms of demonstration system level specifications
  • Learn how to author for demonstration media players to support in store product demonstrations
  • Support new launch demonstration show validation
  • Learn how to test product firmware against current retail demonstrations to detect bug defects
  • Create specifications for validation testing and support throughout testing

Qualifications and General Skills

  • Must be pursuing BA/BS/BM in audio engineering, electrical engineering, sound recording, music/multimedia technology or other related field
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, Visio or Lucid Chart are helpful
  • Ability to focus on details, organization, and clear communication
  • Quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, technologies, and timelines
  • Motivation to produce and improve high-quality deliverables
  • Familiarity with schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM) and flow diagrams are helpful
