NTUs’ Office of Alumni Engagement is seeking an experienced Manager, Alumni Engagement to work with the Alumni Services Team lead in overseeing the management of alumni data and drive improvements in data and IT-related services. The ideal candidate will excel in data management, IT project coordination, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Gather and record accurate alumni engagement data and generate timely reports for senior management and ad hoc requests. Verify and update alumni LinkedIn data and notable alumni lists. Recruit, train, and supervise student helpers for data updates in Blackbaud CRM.

  • Data/IT Project Management: Collaborate with NTU units, including the University Advancement Office (UAO) and Centre of IT Services (CITS), to enhance IT-related services for alumni. Manage and coordinate technical aspects of the alumni portal, serving as the liaison for technical issues.

  • Operations and Coordination: Guide the Senior Executive, Data Management in maintaining CRM data accuracy. Handle CRM access requests and support the team lead on data-related audits. Ensure compliance with data privacy policies and update departmental SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Data Analytics or other related fields.

  • Advanced-level knowledge of Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge and skills in data visualizations.

  • Familiarity with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), data privacy and governance policies.

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in data and database management, or customer or membership-type platforms/app or IT related-projects.

  • Experience in managing others e.g. junior staff will be advantageous.


Skills & Competencies

  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese languages (both written and spoken) as the candidate is expected to review database records in Chinese.

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Resourceful and ability to work independently and in a group setting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of alumni relations and an understanding of the higher education landscape is a plus.
