POSITION OVERVIEW
A rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com is seeking a Customer Success Associate to join its Supply Chain team. As a fast, growing company, Alarm.com is looking for a tactical-and-strategic focused Associate with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. This role will focus on supply chain fulfillment activities for our Partner base with the aim of improving Alarm.com’s overall customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build strong relationships with external Alarm.com Partners, as well as internal stakeholders; act as their Supply Chain advocate within Alarm.com
  • Act as a key liaison between Alarm.com Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Technical Support, Product Management, Billing, Finance and the external Partners.
  • Communicate proactively between Alarm.com Partners and key internal stakeholders to distribute critical information across necessary parties.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and externally on various initiatives (for example):
    • Partner forecast analysis
    • New product introduction
    • Product transitions
    • Transportation optimization
  • Oversee order management for external Partners, including but not limited to:
    • Communication of hardware availability
    • General order tracking updates
    • Sales and demo order entry requests as needed
  • Support Partner return (RMA) and stock rotation requests
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to support operational efficiency, system improvements, cost savings, or cost avoidance.
  • Create and/or refine standard operating procedures (SOP) that support Supply Chain and its Partners.
  • Ad-hoc support to both internal and external contacts
  • Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in post-sale account management, customer service or cross-functional support (1-5 years)
  • The ability to communicate with customers and vendors via email and verbally in a clear and professional manner
  • A self-starter who can operate independently and is customer oriented
  • Must possess the ability and commitment to meet deadlines even during high volume periods
  • Team player with a positive attitude and high-degree of flexibility
  • Must be computer proficient, ability to learn Alarm.com platforms and tools
  • Experience in inventory management, order fulfillment or any supply chain related field is a plus
