The Role & What You Will Be Doing
To drive the sales and market penetration of our pharmaceutical products within the designated geographical area by leveraging established relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The Area Sales Manager will strategically lead the sales efforts, ensuring growth in market share and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company sales targets. This role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the effective promotion of the company's pharmaceutical products in major institutions within the region.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales goals, aligning with company objectives and market conditions.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in major institutions to facilitate product adoption and loyalty.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Provide actionable insights to adjust strategies as needed.
Sales Execution: Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations. Negotiate and close contracts with healthcare providers and institutions.
Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions. Prepare regular reports for senior management.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales representatives and other team members as necessary to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest ethical standards
Sales Targets: Accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets for the designated area.
Customer Satisfaction: Responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
Territory Management: Accountable for effective management of the assigned sales territory, including budget adherence and resource allocation.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Language Skills: Fluent in Czech and intermediate English, both written and spoken.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Tanzanit is an advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sales role within the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating a successful track record of sales performance.
Relationships: Proven experience in managing relationships with HCPs and KOLs within major institutions in the Czech Republic.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
