At Prestwick Service Centre, we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. We require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Business Leader to join the local Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in driving the overall success and strategic direction of the Supply Chain function, including the Procurement and Logistics teams. This is an onsite* role.

What you will do:

  • Operating at a strategic level and fully engaged in decision making as part of the local Leadership Team

  • Own the execution of long-term Supply chain strategies

  • Manage responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines

  • Lead interaction with RTX, Aftermarket, Aftermarket MROs and Central Collins to align to one Enterprise-wide process for product and non-product sourcing.

  • Lead interaction with Aftermarket and Aftermarket MROs to align Plan for Every part (PFEP) activity.

  • Lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature including development of supplier Statements of Work (SOW) as required.

  • Lead, initiate and participate in supplier assessments and development activities.

  • Lead and participate in audit preparation, support and close out activities.

  • Monitor and report business and contract compliance and develop metrics for processes, policies and procedures.

  • Driving our positive people culture throughout the business

Manage a team of experienced Leaders to ensure:

  • Stable supply of products and services to execute operational plans.

  • Product, Supplier or commodity is performing to the designed RTX requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.

  • Compliance and provide guidance regarding RTX policies and procedures, and business system processes.

    Skills / Experience we value:

    • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with strong commercial awareness and a drive to deliver results. You will be degree qualified or have relevant experience and possess extensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations within a fast-paced, multinational corporation.

    • You will have proven management experience, with a strong track record of successfully delivering operational performance in a supply chain or closely related role.

    • Experience managing logistics operations is highly desirable.

    • You will be computer literate, with excellent organisational and analytical skills, and be an effective communicator capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

    • Previous experience within an Aerospace or Aircraft Maintenance environment would be a distinct advantage.

    • The role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as business needs dictate.
