The Manager, Process Excellence (PPI) will lead strategic business transformation initiatives that improve customer experience, operational performance, productivity, and business results. Partnering closely with business leaders, this role will identify improvement opportunities, redesign critical business processes, and drive deployment of automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and digital solutions across key value streams.

 

This role is accountable for driving sustainable productivity improvements across the organization through process transformation, automation, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives that deliver measurable business impact. While the primary focus of the role is driving business transformation and productivity, the position also plays a key role in strengthening organizational capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

The successful candidate will be a high-energy change agent who creates urgency, drives accountability, and influences stakeholders across a complex matrix organization. They will be highly curious, eager to learn the business, and take a hands-on approach to understanding processes, identifying opportunities, and driving sustainable improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive measurable productivity improvement across the organization through business process transformation, automation, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Lead transformation initiatives across critical end-to-end business processes, including Inquiry to Quote, Quote to Delivery, Procure to Pay, among other critical processes..
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute end to end process improvement opportunities that deliver measurable customer, operational, and financial benefits.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to redesign workflows, simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive implementation of automation, AI-enabled, and digital solutions that improve productivity, scalability, cycle time, and customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI capabilities to improve business performance and accelerate transformation outcomes.
  • Apply PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured process improvement methodologies to support sustainable business improvements.
  • Build alignment across stakeholders and lead change through influence in a matrix environment.
  • Develop organizational capability in process improvement, problem solving, and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate improvement initiatives across the organization and drive activities that strengthen continuous improvement capabilities, employee engagement, and a culture of operational excellence.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience leading business transformation, process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable productivity, operational, and financial results through process redesign and transformation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Experience deploying automation, AI-enabled, and digital solutions to improve business processes and productivity.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce (SFDC), or similar platforms.
  • Experience working across end-to-end business processes
  • Knowledge and practical application of process improvement methodologies such as PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, or Business Process Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business processes, build strong partnerships across functions, and drive improvements through hands-on engagement and execution.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality systems.
