About Walmart US Operations Finance & Strategy

Walmart's US Operations End-to-End Finance & Strategy Team is hiring a Director, Finance to support our innovations in Finance Strategy for Renovation and Remodels within our Network of Walmart US Retail Stores and Facilities. You will work with finance and business leadership to develop short and long-term business planning for the renovation and remodeling of Walmart stores and related facilities across our massive national footprint. Reporting to the End-to-End Finance & Strategy VP, you'll support Strategic Financial Planning for Walmart US Retail Stores Operations. You will rely on your strategic finance skills, data visualization, storytelling, and insights to solve complex financial problems.

What you'll do:

  • Advise Leadership and Partners on Strategic Finance by supporting priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the business
  • Assist the E2E Director and Senior Management with a structured approach to solving problems and relevant insights on geographic opportunities for growth and profitable solutions
  • Maximize Finance Strategy with financial forecasting and strategic planning to create viable financial models while maintaining Quality Assurance for financials across departments
  • Use New Tools to track indicators such as volume and productivity
  • Develop Talent and Leadership to attract new people and build our workforce, while promoting a positive environment for team members to grow

What you'll bring:

  • You have 7+ years of financial planning or finance strategy support for major business operations within a large corporate environment.
  • You have finance experience with Asset Management or Operations with a retail chain or large firm with physical or public locations.
  • You have experience building teams and managing people.
  • You can manage process improvement and the standardization of financial models.
  • You have experience developing scorecards, dashboards and clear financial metrics.
  • You excel at presenting financial cases to partners and senior-level management.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience
i n accounting, finance, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
2 years’ experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
