We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role is essential to maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT infrastructure as we scale. The ideal candidate is an experienced and proactive professional who can manage complex systems, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and provide strategic recommendations to improve our technology environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various departments and play a critical role in shaping our IT operations.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect company data and infrastructure.
  • Cloud Management: Administer cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Automation and Optimization: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline IT processes, reduce manual workload, and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure IT systems support business needs and projects.
  •  Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures for reference and compliance purposes.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior IT staff, providing guidance, support, and training to foster growth and knowledge-sharing.
 
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
 
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Experience Managing Multiple SaaS Based platforms (Zoom, GWS, Office365, Outreach, etc)
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Intune and Jamf.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
