As part of the Compensation Team, the primary purpose of the Senior Compensation Analyst is to support various reoccurring and annual processes that assure external competitiveness and internal equity so that compensation systems attract, retain, and motivate employees. Analyze and implement Neogen’s compensation programs globally, including base pay and various incentives. Advise HR colleagues and People Leaders on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. However, candidates must be willing to travel periodically for in-person meetings and team events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads equity administration. Inputs employee equity changes, vesting occurrences, and grant offerings accurately and in a timely fashion, into third party equity system. Conducts analysis and auditing of data in support of program administration. 
  • Partners with Total Rewards leadership, Finance, and Legal to complete SEC filling requirements, including supporting the creation of the Annual Proxy Statement.
  • Assists in the development of annual Sales Compensation Plans and ongoing governance of established sales program guidelines.
  • Administers the employee stock purchase program (ESPP). Educates eligible employee population on program guidelines and partners with third party vendor on implementation and participation.
  • Administers mobility program for all eligible global and domestic employee moves and temporary assignments.
  • Manages global recognition program and engages with HR partners to ensure alignment to guidelines.
  • Supports design of Total Rewards programs that align with Neogen’s People Strategy.
  • Contributes to design, modelling and communication of pay structures, compensation budgets and pay guidelines.
  • Responds to market benchmarking inquiries globally and supports HR partners with compensation data requirements.
  • Participates in global compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.  
  • Partners with Systems and Payroll to ensure that system compensation data is accurate and ensures that Workday is updated.  
  • Stays abreast of all advances and trends in the broader marketplace related to Total Rewards.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations in various markets and assists with analytics.
  • Supports continuous improvement on key compensation activities (salary survey submission, annual salary reviews and bonus processes).
  • Supports key reward initiatives such as development and communication of job architecture, pay ranges and pay guidelines.
  • Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines and recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.
  • Evaluates new job roles and develops job profiles as required.
  • Partners with HR colleagues and People Leaders to educate and advise on Neogen’s compensation programs.
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of experience in compensation at multi-national organization.
  • Advanced analytical, numerical and excel skills.
