Your Business:
The Everyday Business Banking team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash Management, Payments, Business Lending and Commerce Solutions as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.
Your role:
The Business Banking Remediation Team is a remediation centre within our Everyday Business Banking team. The Remediation Team is responsible for the management and execution of remediation activities. These activities can range from simple customer payments to large complex projects covering multiple product lines and business units.
The Manager, Incident Triage & Controls Uplift, will be a dynamic member of a fast-paced team responsible for:
Prioritising risk reduction activity across Business Banking;
Understanding and defining problems that arise from potential incidents identified in the business;
Working with product and other stakeholders to understand problem statement and to define the remediation approach
Presenting analysis and approach to stakeholders including LT members
Understanding and meeting product wide compliance obligations;
Building analytical controls to reduce the residual risk profile across Business Banking;
Engage closely with the Product, BB Line 1 and Line 2 risk management to ensure that control design, testing and enhancements are aligned with our risk management frameworks.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Knowledge and Experience - minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience, highly preferable in the financial services industry, within Remediation, Risk or Business Analysis.
Strong organisational, planning, prioritisation, time management and project management skills.
Strong team dynamic and relationship skills.
Data analytics – Experience in using data and statistics to define and solve problems, as well as manage business performance.
Ability to work with the business to quickly learn and grasp complex concepts to understand and define problems, ultimately helping design solutions.
The ability to analyse trends, identify critical threats and opportunities and diagnose problems and issues.
Operations and testing expertise – preferably with controls testing.
Productivity – experience in delivering productivity, process optimisation and continuous improvement projects or initiatives.
