Department Overview

Noggin is a leader in integrated resilience management technology, offering a next-generation, cloud-based platform that combines 10 essential solutions into one unified system. Our award-winning platform seamlessly integrates operational and third-party risk management, operational resilience, business continuity, incident and crisis management, emergency management, and security and safety operations.

The Software Trainer is a stand-alone function that sits within the Professional Services team however has a business-wide role working with both internal employees and external customers. As the dedicated Noggin trainer, this role ensures that that Noggin’s customers and internal stakeholders have the knowledge and skills they need to proficiently operate and administer our software, have excellent user experiences, get the most value out of our software, use it in the best way, and are highly satisfied with Noggin’s products.


Job Description

The position is responsible for understanding Noggin’s products in detail, and the context, requirements and learning needs of customers, analysing those requirements to devise the best training solutions, and designing, developing, and delivering those solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Course Development & Management

  • Create and maintain engaging product training courses for both online and in-person delivery, including customized courses tailored to specific customer needs.

  • Deliver training sessions, manage administrative tasks such as client communications and scheduling, and continuously improve training programs to ensure alignment with product content and learning outcomes.

Communication & Coordination

  • Proactively coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely readiness of training content for product updates and new releases.

  • Communicate with customers about upcoming training sessions, bookings, and feedback.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers to stay informed about new features and their benefits and ensure training programs align with business goals.

  • Collaborate with Noggin stakeholders to maintain content quality and standards, and effectively manage multiple initiatives with various teams.


Basic Requirements

Education and Qualifications

Essential: Tertiary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resources or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. 

Experience and Skills

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable presenting to groups.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to efficiently work on multiple active projects concurrently and work well both independently and as part of a team, meeting communicated schedules.

  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders levels across multiple industries 

  • Experience developing and delivering training courses for business software applications.

  • Experience writing instructional text.

  • Experience with producing training materials as part of a product development cycle.

Personal Attributes

  • Effective level of competency in delivery of online and in-person training

  • Effective level of competency in creating eLearning and video content.
